| Jenny Wilson finds the greatest artistic inspiration from exploring the mysteries of nature and how they relate to the human spirit.
For Wilson, making art is a meditative process, steeped in the desire to create something beautiful and serene that will resonate with the viewer. Wilson works in acrylic, carefully applying layers until the work has a mysterious illuminated quality that evokes the atmospheric sense she seeks to convey. "These layers evolve and change the painting which is very conceptual to me," Wilson explains. "Time, light and illumination exist in our world and eventually these elements alter everything and everyone.
